Metals (SLM) - 3D Printing
Metal 3D Printing (SLM) technology provides rigid metal prototypes within days and in a wide range of metal powders. This process makes it possible to manufacture parts with geometries that could not be obtained using traditional methods, such as hollow parts, cooling channels or lattices.
WHat are the advantages of metal 3D Printing?
Lightw eight
An interesting technology for designing structural parts: thin walls, trellises, hollow sections and undercuts
Comple x Geomet ries
Geometries that can’t be obtained by CNC or foundry processes. Reduce part count on assemblies to weld
Materials
Most metals and alloys can be printed (copper, steel, aluminum) with the same properties and high density

Parts With Complex Geometry
- No limits in terms of design and shapes (giving customers greater flexibility). The 3D metal printing process is able to produce complex geometry unlike CNC.
Light in Weight and Less Material Waste
- By sintering the powder, there is less material waste (environmentally friendly). Parts can be designed to be lighter. It’s the perfect solution for parts used in aeronautic, aerospace or car racing where every gram is important.
Ideal for Tooling
- 3D metal is not only for parts. Where CNC have limits in terms of cooling system for tooling, 3D metal is an adaptable solution to produce the most efficient cooling solution.
