High Pressure Diecasting
Die casting is a process used to produce large volumes of small metal parts. We create a mould in which we inject a molten metal. High precision parts are obtained which, in most cases, do not require any finishing operation.
Producing low volume die castings, what are the advantages?
ECONOMIES OF SCALE
Once the cost of the mould has been amortized, die casting is a very economical way to produce metal parts
RepeatabLE PRODUCTION
Die-casting tools produce parts of consistent quality over a long period of time
VARIOUS FINISHES
Wide range of surface treatments available for die-cast parts
Die casting technology
The process uses compressed metal powder that is injection moulded and then ‘sintered’ to produce parts of high accuracy and which often need no post processing.
