Evolving markets, times and customer needs – ARRK raises the bar to support customers in today’s world

It’s been a busy and exciting time for the team at ARRK Europe since the start of the year. The business environment has undergone significant changes and challenges, with an increasing focus on Defence and Security, UAVs, Electric Vehicle Transportation and Medical Device development and manufacture. On top of this, there is of course the need to provide a service and operation that is doing its utmost to protect and secure itself from digital cyber threats.

We’re finding customers are increasingly looking for suppliers that can support their needs reliably, securely and with procedures and policies that match their corporate values and criteria.

We’ve been forging closer ties with the Aerospace and Defence communities, Vehicle Electrification and Medical Device markets. With customers finding ARRK’s extensive range of manufacturing services advantageous to them, we’ve attended a number of events to highlight, in person, how we can support them.

We’re delighted to have joined Make UK Defence and they have worked hard to help us engage with companies looking for support. From designated “Meet-the- Buyer” events, to organised participation on trade pavilion stands, such as DSEI – it’s been great to meet so many companies, in such a short period of time. Thanks also go to ADS (Aerospace, Defence & Security), Midlands Aerospace and Northwest Aerospace Alliance, of whom we are also members.  ARRK is also a registered member of JOSCAR, which many Defence customers require.

The drive towards Net zero solutions is also gaining momentum with increasing activity and development from OEM’s and new startups. ARRK recently took part in the Cenex Expo in early September. This popular exhibition and conference attracted a wide range of companies supporting the Net Zero – Connected Automated Mobility market. It was our first time there and it was great to engage with so many different organisations in this field. Our ability to support early concepts, while adding our experience, capability and design for manufacture expertise, positioned us well with visitors.

Soon after we finished attending the Cenex show, ARRK was on the road again, this time taking its message as a manufacturing solution provider to Gallway in Ireland to attend the Medical Technology Show. This 2-day event, at the end of September, attracted companies of all shapes and sizes. Every need is different, and we thrive on the challenge of helping customers to develop/manufacture their products through the various stages.

Next up we will be attending the Advanced Engineering Show at the NEC, Birmingham from 29th-30th October. A team of experts from both our Nuneaton and Gloucester sites will be on hand to talk to visitors and discuss the range of manufacturing solutions available to them from additive manufacturing, composite production, precision engineering, machining, tooling and injection moulding.

ARRK has seen the challenges out there that our customers are facing. We are working hard to develop closer ties with customers to understand their requirements and where they need support. We are listening and improving our services to be able to support what customers need from us in order to do business. ARRK has a long and established history in the marketplace and is enhancing our range of capabilities, services and operations to ensure we maintain this legacy well in the future and in parallel with market needs.

And finally…..

As part of one of our strategic plans, we are delighted to report that ARRK Europe has recently secured Cyber Essentials PLUS certification.

This significant achievement reflects our commitment to maintaining strong cyber security practices in an increasingly dynamic digital landscape. This was a collective effort, of course, but particular thanks go to our IT team for all their hard work. We hope this new certification, alongside our Quality and Environmental accreditations, gives our customers confidence and peace of mind knowing they are working with a reputable and reliable partner.

This is a highly sought after certification and one that not many companies in our industry possess. We’re proud of our achievement and hopefully this external audit of our IT systems will open-up more opportunities to support customers who demand this level of certification.
